Polashenski Hunting Paraphernalia was inspired by six Polaroid photographs I came across while sifting through family history after the passing of my father (and grandmother several years earlier).  My grandmother took these in 1968 to document the family’s hunting weapons that they had and arranged each item preciously.  She hand wrote the titles: "Our Rifles" and  "A Little Ammunition" on the back of each Polaroid.  She set up ammunition like a still life and probably wasn't aware of the contrast she created between weapon and flowered table cloth.  I was mesmerized by this find.
